THE PROBLEM
People don't frame things as much as they want to
How often have you put something aside and thought “I’ll frame that later” but never gotten around to it?
Why traditional picture frames don't work for most people:
- They often require tools to hang on the wall.
- They’re single-size, meaning finding the right frame is a chore.
- You can buy an expensive bespoke frame or a low quality frame that’s bad for the environment.

OUR SOLUTION
A frame you can get on the wall in minutes
Designed in the UK, Pop-up Frames are a framing system that works for how people actually live.
No more framing it later when you have the right tools, wall plugs, or equipment — with a stack of multisize picture frames to hand, you’re always ready to get some art on the wall.
How Pop-up Frames are different

STORY
A designer and an artist face a problem
Pop-up Frames was founded by designer Roger Felton and artist Kate Felton Hall.
When Kate Felton-Hall took the plunge to become an artist full time, she sold her illustrations at fairs. She quickly became tired of overpriced or low-quality frames that were either the wrong size, too expensive, or both, eating into her profits.
Kate and her husband, Roger, a designer, set out to design a product with a simple belief: the frame should adapt to the artwork, not the other way around.
Skip ahead a few years and Pop-up Frames has gone international, featuring in the Design Museum in London, George Lucas’ Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in LA, and more.
