In the UK, the most common photo print sizes are:

  • 6 × 4 inches (15.2 × 10.2 cm)
  • 7 × 5 inches (17.8 × 12.7 cm)
  • 8 × 6 inches (20.3 × 15.2 cm)

For a direct fit, choose a frame with an internal size that exactly matches your photo dimensions.

If you would like a visible border (mount), choose the next size up and use a window mount cut to your photo size. For example:

  • A 6 × 4 inch photo works well in an A5 frame (14.8 × 21 cm) with a mount.
  • A 7 × 5 inch photo can sit inside an A4 frame (21 × 29.7 cm) with a mount.
  • An 8 × 6 inch photo can also be mounted inside an A4 frame.
