At Pop-up Frames, we’re on a mission to make framing easier and more sustainable — so it’s simpler to fill your walls with the things you love. 2025 was a big year for us, with some moments that genuinely stopped us in our tracks. None of it would have happened without the people backing what we’re building, so thank you for being part of the journey!
Here are five moments we’re proud to frame from 2025.
1: We were recommended by The Sunday Times
We were featured in The Sunday Times Home section as a go-to solution for renters who want to hang art without damaging their walls. Interiors expert Wayne Perrey recommended Pop-up Frames as his first tip, highlighting their lightweight, cut-to-size design as an easy way to add personality without risking your deposit. . For us, it was a real pinch-me moment — proof that the simple idea behind Pop-up Frames is solving a very real, everyday problem for people at home.

2: We featured in Artists & Illustrators
Pop-up Frames were featured in Artists & Illustrators Magazine, one of the UK’s most-loved publications for artists and creatives, with co-founder and artist Kate Felton Hall photographed in her Walberswick studio using the frames to get her paintings ready to show — quickly, without fuss, and without the usual cost barrier. Seeing Pop-up Frames framed (quite literally) as part of an artist’s everyday practice, rather than a last-minute chore, felt like a full-circle moment for us — and one that’s since been echoed by many artists adopting Pop-up Frames in their own studios and exhibitions.

3: We were stocked by a leading UK arts retailers
In 2025, Pop-up Frames became available at Cass Art — one of the UK’s best-known high-street destinations for artists. With stores across the country and a long-standing reputation for supporting working creatives, being stocked by Cass Art marked an important shift for us: from being discovered online to being picked up in-store by more artists, students, and makers. It’s a clear sign that Pop-up Frames are becoming part of everyday creative practice — right where artists already go to buy the tools they trust.

4: Frames now available in 10 colours
We don’t believe framing should be boring. It should be considered, creative, and quietly expressive — which is why we launched 5 new colours in 2025. Made in the EU from high-quality FSC-certified wood pulp, the expanded colour range gives artists and home-makers more freedom to choose frames that suit their work, their space, and their style. It’s a small change that opens up a lot more creative possibility.

5: We collaborated with the Design Museum on the Wes Anderson exhibition
We were invited by the Design Museum in London to collaborate on their Wes Anderson exhibition, framing a selection of iconic posters from his films. Known for their carefully balanced compositions and distinctive colour palettes, the posters were paired with Pop-up Frames in our newer colourways — chosen for how naturally they complement Anderson’s pastel-heavy, highly considered aesthetic. Seeing our frames used in a major cultural institution, and available to buy in the Design Museum gift shop, was a standout moment for us — a meeting point between design, colour, and storytelling that felt entirely at home.

Thank you!
To everyone who’s supported Pop-up Frames this year — thank you. Whether you’ve framed your first piece of art, followed along quietly, shared kind words, or helped spread the idea, you’ve played a part in getting us here. We’re proud of how far things have come, and even more excited about what’s ahead.
Here’s to more walls filled with the things you love — and to whatever next year brings.
